Our Approach to Treatment at Caring Hands

Helping you achieve a lasting recovery

With a progressive mission and a commitment to success, Caring Hands goes beyond addressing only the physical and mental issues for the individuals that come to us with substance abuse and addiction. Here, the focus also includes the recovery ramifications for the family unit and the individual’s social network. Treatment also includes education and identification of positive roles and functions in society that the person can adopt throughout treatment and recovery.

The Caring Hands approach to treatment is all-encompassing and aims to identify and address the major causes and underpinnings of the substance abuse.  We assist and empower clients to overcome them with sustainable, long-term personal tools. These include increasing a person’s sense of self-worth and adhering to individual interpersonal boundaries, as well as considering physiological and biological components. Of course, a client’s physical and emotional health is at the forefront when developing a treatment plan. Together, the treatment team and the individual will consider family history, potential environmental obstacles, medications, and past traumatic events that may play a role in the recovery process.

Have some questions?

What Should I Expect to Happen in a Rehab Program?

Every patient receives drug rehabilitation treatment that has been specifically crafted with their needs and preferences in mind. But most treatments usually involve a combination of services, such as detoxification, substance abuse therapy on an individual and/or group basis, and education programs to help prevent relapses.

What is Detoxification?

Detoxification, or “detox” as it is often called, is a phase in the recovery process that occurs early on and plays an important role in the overall treatment. During this phase, you will eliminate substances from your body and the toxic influences they have upon you. Patients’ experiences during this phase of treatment can vary tremendously based on a number of factors, such as the type of substance abused and how often the substance was used. But you may suffer withdrawal symptoms that can be unpleasant or even dangerous. However, when detoxification is performed in a medically supervised program, treatment is provided to mitigate both the discomfort and the dangers that can be associated with withdrawal.

What Comes After Detoxification?

After detoxification is complete, next comes substance abuse therapy. Patients participate in a combination of individual and group therapy sessions to help them identify and correct underlying issues that have contributed to their substance abuse. Treatment also includes education to help patients recognize potentially risky situations that could trigger a relapse, and it will help them develop the skills to prevent relapses and sustain sobriety.

What is Aftercare Planning?

Near the end of a drug rehabilitation program, members of the facility work with patients to create an aftercare plan to ensure continued sobriety. This plan may include a combination of activities, such as support groups and therapy as well as living arrangements in a sober-living facility if they are deemed necessary.

A Program that Cares

Caring Hands Recovery Rehabilitation Center is a progressive provider and a leader in the substance abuse treatment field.  At Caring Hands, a team of professionals will design a treatment program to fit your individual needs and preferences. We realize that addiction treatment is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. Each individual has their own set of thoughts and beliefs, as well as a unique set of challenges, and we keep that in mind as we design a treatment program that is tailor-made for your needs. We encourage you to find out more about us and how we can help you obtain and maintain a drug-free life.

Drug and alcohol addiction can have devastating ramifications, both for the addict and their family. This is why we concentrate on the positive ways that recovery can affect individuals, families, and society as a whole. Our treatment plans delve into the underlying factors that lead to abuse and addiction. We believe that addressing these underlying issues will lead to the best chance of success and a long-term sober lifestyle.

Our custom treatment plans include a variety of counseling sessions, both group and one-on-one, as well as other treatments like medical management and support services. Every individual is unique, and that is why every treatment plan we devise is unique, taking into consideration their individual needs. Our focus is on helping people attain a sustainable and healthy recovery and lifestyle that is as rewarding for the addict as it is for their family and loved ones.
